GLP3 (LY3437943, CAS 2381089-83-2) is an investigational peptide acting as a triple agonist at the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide receptor, the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor, and the glucagon receptor. The glucagon receptor component distinguishes it from dual agonists: in research models it has been associated with hepatic glucose output and increases in resting energy expenditure alongside the appetite and glycaemic signalling attributed to GLP-1 receptor activity.
Melanotan II (CAS 121062-08-6) is a cyclic lactam analogue of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone, engineered for potency and metabolic stability beyond the native peptide. At MC1R it drives transcription of tyrosinase and related enzymes in the melanin biosynthetic pathway; its activity at MC3R, MC4R, and MC5R has made it a subject of central melanocortin signalling research.
